Transparency Charter

Our Transparency Charter

Accessibility has a honesty problem. This charter is our public commitment to doing it differently.

The problem

The Accessibility Honesty Problem

A significant segment of the accessibility industry sells false certainty:

"Instant WCAG compliance" — not real. No tool can make a broken website instantly compliant.

"Lawsuit protection guaranteed" — not possible. Overlays and widgets have been rejected as valid compliance by US courts.

"AI makes your website accessible" — partially true at best. AI can assist remediation; it cannot replace human judgment or user testing.

"One line of code, fully compliant" — demonstrably false, yet a common marketing claim in this industry.

These claims mislead customers, create false confidence, and — most importantly — leave people with disabilities on websites that are still unusable despite the "compliance badge."

Our commitments

What We Commit To

Honest capability claims

We will never claim our widget makes your website "fully compliant." The widget helps end users work around barriers. It does not fix your underlying code. We state this clearly on our product pages, in our Terms of Service, and in our sales conversations.

No lawsuit protection claims

We do not promise to protect you from ADA lawsuits. No vendor can make that guarantee. We provide tools that help you improve accessibility — which reduces risk, but does not eliminate it.

Transparent pricing, no dark patterns

All prices are on our pricing page. No hidden fees. No automatic upgrades without your consent. No confusing annual plan fine print. 14-day money-back guarantee on first payment. Cancel any time.

What our scanner can and cannot detect

Automated tools detect approximately 30–40% of WCAG issues. We tell customers this. The remainder require human review, expert judgment, and testing with assistive technologies. We provide guidance on both.

Real data, no inflated numbers

When we show statistics — scan results, issue counts, feature lists — they reflect real data. We do not inflate numbers to make our platform look more impressive than it is.

AI is augmentation, not replacement

Our AI remediation tool provides suggestions and code changes. It is reviewed and verified by you or your developers, not automatically deployed. AI can miss context, make incorrect assumptions, and produce outputs that need human review.

Our own accessibility matters

We publish an Accessibility Statement for incluxa.com that honestly documents our conformance status, known gaps, and remediation timeline. We use our own widget. We hold ourselves to the same standard we sell.

No data selling, ever

We do not sell your data or your end users' data to third parties for any purpose. Data shared with INCLUXA is used to provide the service and improve it. That is the entirety of our use.

Never list

What We Will Never Do

Claim that using our widget makes a website "fully WCAG compliant" or "ADA compliant"

Promise lawsuit immunity or legal protection

Use dark patterns to prevent you from canceling

Automatically upgrade your plan without explicit consent

Use misleading statistics or cherry-picked data in our marketing

Sell your data or your users' data to third parties

Silently change pricing without 30 days' notice

Deploy AI-generated fixes to your website without your review

Accountability

Hold Us Accountable

This charter is a public commitment. If you see us acting against it — in our marketing, our sales conversations, our product, or our documentation — we want to know.

We will investigate every report and respond. If we have made a misleading claim, we will correct it publicly.

We also encourage you to hold the broader accessibility industry to a higher standard. Ask vendors to be specific about what their tools can and cannot do. Ask for real test data. Ask whether their "compliance certificates" have any legal standing. The more customers ask these questions, the better the industry gets.
